Lantern Walk

The lantern walk is a celebration of "bringing one's light into the darkness" and is part of the Waldorf tradition. It is usually in the Fall, November 11 to be exact and the lanterns are made by hand out of twigs, glue and paper or old mason jars and tea lights. The celebration surrounds the story of St. Martin, a begger who gave away his last article of clothing to someone in need.
